Christian Pulisic was Football Italia’s Man of the Match today as the American forward score twice and assisted another as Milan put in an impressive performance to defeat Udinese 3-0.

The former Chelsea man was a constant threat throughout and helped Allegri’s side pick up a vital three points against an in-form Bianconeri team.

Best Udinese Player: Arthur Atta – The French left-midfielder was one of Udinese’s only bright sparks this evening, causing problems for Milan down the flank. The midfielder was involved constantly throughout the game and had a couple of efforts on goal saved comfortably by Terracciano.

Lowest Rated Udinese Player: Jesper Karlstrom – The Swedish midfielder was at fault for Milan’s second goal, when he was dispossessed by Christian Pulisic in his own box. Karlstrom lashed out at Pulisic and committed a foul before play went on and Fofana curled one past the keeper from the edge of the box.

Udinese Coach: Kosta Runjaic 5 – Both Runjaic and his team were outclassed today by their counterparts. The Bianconeri were unable to really create any goalscoring opportunities and the substitutes made by the coach had little to no impact.

Best Milan Player: Christian Pulisic – Who else than talented forward Christian Pulisic, who helped guide the Rossoneri to victory today with two goals and an assist against Udinese. The American was in fine form, a constant threat all game, winning nearly all of his duels and adding to his goal tally in the process.

Lowest Rated Milan Player: Santiago Gimenez – It just isn’t working out for the Mexican in Rossoneri colours. The forward had a poor effort saved comfortably by Sava in the opening twenty minutes before being taken off around the hour mark. It wasn’t his worst display for Milan but once again, he went goalless. It is now nearly five months since the forward last found the back of the net for Milan.

Milan Coach: Allegri 8 – The experienced coach showed his quality today as his Rossoneri side avoided a potential slip-up against an inform Udinese. Allegri’s faith in Christian Pulisic was rewarded and summer signings Luka Modric, Pervis Estupiñán and Koni De Winter all helped show the club’s improved squad depth.
