Kylian Mbappe has suggested that he is interested by a future move to Major League Soccer and has revealed that David Beckham has approached him about a transfer to Inter Miami.

Mbappe is with theFrance squad at this summer's World Cup, which is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The arrival of Lionel Messi at Inter Miami has helped put a spotlight on the sport, and Mbappe is another high-profile name thatMLS will hope to lure in the future.

Mbappe revealed that David Beckham has mentioned a potential Miami move to him, and said he respects the 'no limits' ambition of American culture.

“Playing in MLS one day? I don’t know… David Beckham mentioned that to me many times. We will see, I don’t know," Mbappe said, as perFabrizio Romano.

“The American culture is different, there are no limits to ambitions, I like it."

For now, Mbappe has his sights set on success withReal Madrid and France. The 27-year-old scored twice as Les Bleus beat Senegal in their World Cup opener, taking his career total to 14 goals at the World Cup.

He's now just two behind Miroslav Klose and Lionel Messi as theWorld Cup's record scorer, with Messi equalling the record with a hat-trick against Algeria on matchday one.

“I knew that Leo Messi was going to score goals, he always scores," Mbappe said of his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate.

“I’m going to keep scoring goals to help my team go as far as possible. And of course, by scoring, I'll get closer to the record."
