Newcastle United will welcome Bournemouth at St. James’ Park this Saturday as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Magpies suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Crystal Palace recently, so they would be eager to return to winning ways this weekend.
Eddie Howe will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this game. Nick Pope, Dan Burn and Anthony Elanga could all play from the start of this clash.
Nick Pope will feature in between the sticks for the Tyneside club as he looks to keep a clean sheet at home this weekend. Dan Burn will play alongside Malick Thiaw at the heart of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Lewis Hall will try to prove his worth as the left-back, while Tino Livramento looks to prove his worth on the other side as the right-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Sven Botman will provide cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Sandro Tonali and Lewis Miley will anchor the midfield for the Tyneside club as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Harvey Barnes, Nick Woltemade and Anthony Elanga will function just ahead of them as part of the Newcastle attack. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if the Magpies are to secure all three points this weekend.
Joelinton and Jacob Murphy will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their chance to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.
Anthony Gordon will spearhead Newcastle’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real threat in the final third.
William Osula will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter if the Magpies are in need of a goal by then.
