Portuguesa partners with Shopping D to open Canindé access for Corinthians quarter-final

On Friday afternoon, Portuguesa announced a partnership with Shopping D to improve access for the Paulista quarter-final against Corinthians at the Canindé.

According to Meu Timao, the complex neighbours the stadium and a new link between the shopping centre and ground will open on Sunday for both sets of supporters before and after the match.

The route is intended to ease pedestrian movement and improve safety, important because the game is set to finish close to 23:00.

The link will also let fans use the shopping centre’s restaurants and shops before heading to the ground. Corinthians supporters will enter the stadium via Marginal Tietê.

The one-off tie kicks off on Sunday at 20:30, with the winner reaching the Campeonato Paulista semi-finals.
