Jens Odgaard spoke to DAZN after the match: “I’m happy I’m back to scoring but I’m more happy about the three points, and having helped the team. Huge credit to Skorupski too who had a great game. The Europa League is important, but before our game against Roma we need to think about Verona on Sunday. For now, we’re enjoying this win.”

Vincenzo Italiano shared thoughts on the win at Garibaldi Arena: “When you’re playing every three days, you need everyone’s contribution, and those who come off the bench have to bring intensity and quality. Jens did extremely well in that respect. We’re happy, we’re building momentum, and I want to reward the guys with an extra day off. It’s normal not to be at your very best in terms of quality or physical and mental sharpness, but what matters is still getting the job done, especially with a fantastic strike from distance by one of our top players.”

Casale also shared his thoughts: “It wasn’t an easy game because Pisa needed points, but we came here with one clear objective and we’re happy. At half-time I told Odgaard he would get the job done and he did. He scored a sensational goal. He’s an exceptional player and I’m happy for him. We’re coming out of a tough period, but we stayed strong, found our form again and we’re bouncing back. Tonight we will celebrate becasue we deserve it. We need to continue like this. The season is long and we want to close the gap on the teams ahead of us as we push for European qualification.”

Speaking to DAZN, Lukasz Skorupski said: “It’s a big win for us and three important points. The toughest save was on Aebischer’s shot; I know him well, I know how he hits the ball, and I managed to keep it out. We’re taking home three valuable points, and now we go back to training with even more motivation than before.”
