AC Milan bounced back from recent setbacks to claim a priceless win over AS Roma. Both sides have ambitions of challenging at the top this season, but it was the Rossoneri who made a statement to maintain their recent hoo-doo over the capital club.
Strahinja Pavlovic got the decisive goal, though it was Mike Maignanâs heroics that won it. A late penalty save secured a win that lifted Milan above Roma, and within a point of the summit.

The Nerazzurri left it late to win at Verona, as a stoppage-time own goal sealed them the points. Piotr ZieliĆski had earlier opened the scoring with one of the goals of the season.
