Leeds United will face Millwall in the FA Cup at Elland Road on Saturday, and Daniel Farke is expected to make a wholesome change to the side.

The Whites are riding high at the top of the Championship. After Wednesday’s 2-0 triumph at Coventry City, Leeds have moved five points clear at the top of the table.

The primary objective for Leeds this season is securing promotion back to the Premier League, and they are very much on their road to glory.

Farke intends to make several changes to the side from the last game, with a midweek to Watford fast approaching. The FA Cup fourth round presents perfect opportunity for the Leeds boss to rotate his squad and give chances to some of his fringe players.

The Whites boss said, as quoted by Leeds Live: “We are used to a busy schedule and a quick turnaround. You have to get used to it in the Championship. We always rotate during such a period.

“Because of that we will definitely rotate a few positions. Due to the quick turnround we will change up a few more than just one or two positions.”

In goal, Karl Darlow played during the Third Round victory over Harrogate Town, and he should continue.

Pascal Struijk is expected to start with Ethan Ampadu shifting to midfield. Sam Byram is also likely to replace Junior Firpo at left-back.

Joe Rothwell could return to the side in place of Ao Tanaka after missing the last game against Coventry. Largie Ramazani is more than a capable option for Manor Solomon and he is likely to start for Leeds.

Wilfried Gnonto should also make the cut in the starting line-up. This is also a good opportunity to rest Joel Piroe, and start with Mateo Joseph. Piroe, 25, has been brilliant for Leeds this season, but he is likely to make the bench.
