Leeds United drew their biggest Elland Road crowd of the season for the 3-3 with Liverpool, sharpening focus on how their attendances stack up across the Premier League.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, a full ranking of average attendances across the division sets out where each club sits this season.

The Liverpool thriller followed an impressive 3-1 win over Chelsea. Leeds twice came from behind, first from 2-0 down then 3-2 behind, with Ao Tanaka levelling in the 96th minute.

That night brought 36,842 through the turnstiles, the highest at Elland Road so far this campaign. The lowest league crowd was 36,574 against Bournemouth, underlining consistent demand.

Elland Road is far from the smallest Premier League venue, yet it cannot match Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emirates for raw capacity. The atmosphere, as ever, is another matter.
