Premier League keeps £30 away ticket cap as Leeds back unanimous vote | OneFootball

Leeds United were among all 20 Premier League clubs to back keeping the £30 away ticket cap for a further two seasons.

The Premier League said in a statement that clubs unanimously agreed at a shareholders’ meeting to extend the limit. It added the cap will reach 12 consecutive seasons and noted away attendances have risen from 82% to 91% since 2016.

The cap has been in place for the last 10 top-flight seasons and ensures adult away tickets are not priced above £30.

Leeds applied the same £30 ceiling during the 2024/25 Championship campaign, aligning with Premier League pricing. In 2023/24, Elland Road officials sought reciprocal pricing with rivals, though Coventry City were among those who opposed the approach.

If Leeds remain a Premier League club beyond the summer, travelling supporters would be protected from matchday ticket price rises. The league also acknowledged rising costs around following teams, including public transport and petrol.
