There is still one game left to go on Matchday 32, with Bournemouth hosting Fulham on Monday night.

Read on as we look at the individuals who lit up the pitch this weekend:

Goalkeeper – Alex Palmer – Ipswich Town

Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town at Stamford Bridge didn’t do either team any favours.

The Tractor Boys looked on course for a league double over Chelsea at half-time, holding a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Julio Enciso and Ben Johnson.

Chelsea battled back to claim a point after the break and probably would have won, but for Ipswich goalkeeper Alex Palmer.

The Englishman made three stunning saves in the closing stages to deny Trevoh Chalobah, Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez to keep the score at 2-2.

Right-back – Thomas Partey – Arsenal

After bossing the midfield in Arsenal’s memorable win over Real Madrid in midweek, Thomas Partey played at right-back as they drew 1-1 against Brentford.

The Ghanaian effectively dealt with Kevin Schade and scored the game’s opening goal on the hour mark, finishing after receiving the ball in acres of space from Declan Rice.

His effort was cancelled out by Yoan Wissa 13 minutes later, and the hosts were unable to find a winner in the final quarter of the game.

The Gunners are now 13 points away from the top spot in the Premier League, and their title hopes are all but over.

Centre-back – Virgil van Dijk – Liverpool

Liverpool returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Anfield.

The Reds were on course for a comfortable afternoon when Mohamed Salah immaculately set up Luis Diaz for the opener in the 18th minute.

However, a mix-up involving Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson resulted in the latter scoring an own goal with four minutes remaining.

Van Dijk made amends for his howler three minutes later, heading home from an Alexis Mac Allister corner to seal all three points.

Centre-back – Jarrad Branthwaite – Everton

Everton produced one of the weekend’s surprises, beating third-placed Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground on Saturday.

The Toffees ably dealt with the hosts’ attacking threat and scored the winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time through Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Everton centre-backs James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite were rock solid against Chris Wood, one of the league’s most potent strikers this season.

Branthwaite nullified the New Zealander’s aerial threat, winning nine out of his ten duels in the air.

Left-back – Rayan Ait-Nouri – Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers moved 14 points clear of the relegation zone with a 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux.

Rayan Ait-Nouri was a constant menace down the left-hand side, smashing the hosts into the lead after just 85 seconds.

The Algerian forced a mistake from Christian Romero to set up Jorgen Strand Larsen to make it 3-1 in the second half.

Richarlison pulled one back for the visitors with five minutes to go, but Matheus Cunha restored the two-goal lead just seconds later.

Centre-midfield – Sandro Tonali – Newcastle United

Newcastle moved into the top four with a resounding 4-1 win over Man United at St. James’ Park.

Newcastle’s midfield completely dominated the game on Sunday, with United unable to match the energy and intensity in the middle of the park.

Sandro Tonali opened the scoring by running onto a lofted pass from Alexander Isak before volleying home.

United levelled things before half-time through Alejandro Garnacho, but a brace from Harvey Barnes and a fourth from Bruno Guimaraes sealed a convincing win.

Centre-midfield – Youri Tielemans – Aston Villa

Aston Villa made it four league wins in a row, beating relegated Southampton 3-0 at St Mary’s.

Three substitutes – Ollie Watkins, Donyell Malen and John McGinn scored the goals in the final 20 minutes. Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale saved two penalties from Marco Asensio.

Youri Tielemans ran the show in midfield, completing 82 passes with an accuracy of 93 percent.

The Belgian also set up the opener with an outstanding long-range pass over the Southampton defence, which Watkins finished on the stretch.

Left-wing – Harvey Barnes – Newcastle United

Newcastle’s victory over Man United sealed a league double over the Red Devils – the reverse fixture at Old Trafford ended 2-0 to Eddie Howe’s side.

With the game level at half-time despite the hosts dominating proceedings, it was up to them to go for the jugular in the second period.

Barnes restored Newcastle’s lead four minutes after the restart, tapping into an empty net following a cut-back from Jacob Murphy.

The Englishman got his second 15 minutes later, capitalising on a slip from Noussair Mazraoui to scythe through United’s defence and finish with authority into the top corner.

Centre attacking midfield – Kevin de Bruyne – Manchester City

Kevin de Bruyne rolled back the years in Manchester City’s 5-2 win over Crystal Palace as they moved into a Champions League spot.

The Cityzens started very slowly at the Etihad Stadium, falling 2-0 down in 21 minutes after goals from Eberechi Eze and Chris Richards.

De Bruyne started the comeback with a stunning free-kick before Omar Marmoush made it 2-2 going into the break.

City were in cruise control after the restart, and goals from Mateo Kovacic, Jason McAtee and Nico O’Reilly sealed the three points.

Right-wing – Ben Johnson – Ipswich Town

Kieran McKenna fielded full-back Ben Johnson on the right wing at Stamford Bridge for added defensive cover.

The Englishman made an impact in the attacking third of the pitch.

Johnson set up the opener for Enciso before rising highest at the far post to head in his first goal for the club.

Unfortunately for Ipswich, they let their lead slip in the second half and moved closer to relegation.

Centre-forward – Joao Pedro – Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion’s winless run in the league extended to four games, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Leicester City at home.

The Seagulls led twice through Joao Pedro but were pulled back on both occasions by goals from Stephy Mavididi and Memeh Caleb Okoli.

Both of Joao Pedro’s goals came from the penalty spot, but he was a livewire throughout, also creating three goalscoring opportunities for his teammates.

This result marked Brighton’s 12th draw of the season, and Fabian Hurzeler will be frustrated at his team’s wastefulness.
