An exciting encounter under the lights awaits for Leeds United, as Daniel Farke’s side return to Sky Bet Championship with a midweek clash against Norwich City.
The Whites head into the fixture in fine form, having dominated against Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday last time out to earn the derby-day bragging rights, courtesy of an emphatic 3-0 result.
Manor Solomon’s close-range strike got United off to the dream start against the Owls, before late efforts from Largie Ramazani and Ao Tanaka rounded off an impressive display.
That victory took Farke’s side back to the Championship summit, whilst the German’s former employers Norwich find themselves in 11th position, five points adrift of the Play-Off places.
Since Johannes Hoff Thorup’s appointment in the summer, the Danish boss has overseen an overhaul to the squad at Carrow Road and that trend recently continued with the signing of winger Matěj Jurásek from Slavia Prague at the weekend.
Last time out, however, and without the league’s top scorer Borja Sainz who is serving a suspension, the Canaries fell to defeat against Sheffield United.
The two sides have met once this term, with a Ramazani equaliser ensuring the spoils were shared in Norfolk back in October.
Action from Elland Road gets underway at 7:45pm.
