INTERESTING FACTS

  1. Juventus are unbeaten in 15 (W11 D4) of their last 17 Serie A matches against Parma, scoring 36 goals in the process (2.1 goals per match on average) – including the 2-0 win earlier this season.
  2. Juventus could become only the second team against which Parma have conceded at least 100 goals in their Serie A history. They are currently on 99, only behind Roma (102).
  3. Juventus have the highest shooting accuracy in Serie A this season (52%), while Parma have the joint lowest (36%).
  4. Following his goal against Napoli, Kenan Yildiz has set his record for goals in a single Serie A season: eight in 21 appearances, surpassing the seven goals in 35 games of last season. Furthermore, he is second in the league in terms of both touches in the opposition's penalty area (120), and successful dribbles (42).
  5. Jonathan David has scored three goals in his last four league matches: as many as he scored in his previous 26 Serie A and Ligue 1 matches.

OPPOSITION FOCUS

  • Parma have lost 11 of their last 17 Serie A matches against Juventus, having only lost more games to Lazio (12) and Roma (13) since the 2011/2012 season.
  • Parma have only collected four points out of a total of 23 against teams in the top half of the table: only Lecce have a worse record.
  • Parma have only achieved two consecutive home wins against the Bianconeri once in Serie A: between May and November 1993, under Nevio Scala.
  • Adrian Bernabe has set up 39 shots for his teammates in Serie A this season; among midfielders, only Nico Paz (40) and Nicolò Barella (50) have better tallies than the Spaniard.
  • If he scores on Sunday, Mateo Pellegrino could become the first Parma player to score in two consecutive home games against the Bianconeri in Serie A in the three points for a win era (since 1994/1995).
