PSG and Monaco reach play-offs, OM out: Champions League qualifiers and eliminated teams | OneFootball

A breathless final night of the Champions League league phase saw OM fall by a single goal, while PSG and Monaco head for the play-offs. L'Équipe reports that the decisive twist arrived deep into added time.

Beaten 0-3 at Bruges, Marseille still looked set to squeeze through until Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin scored at the death against Real Madrid, completing a 4-2 win. The strike pushed OM down to 25th, the first team eliminated.

PSG were held 1-1 by Newcastle and must go through the play-offs. Monaco drew 0-0 with Juventus and will join them. The two sides could meet in that round.

Top eight qualifiers: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting, Manchester City.

In the play-offs: Real Madrid, Inter Milan, PSG, Newcastle, Juventus, Atlético de Madrid, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Olympiakos, Bruges, Galatasaray, Monaco, Karabagh, Bodö/Glimt, Benfica.

Eliminated: Marseille, Paphos, Union Saint-Gilloise, PSV, Athletic Club, Napoli, Copenhagen, Ajax, Eintracht Frankfurt, Slavia Prague, Villarreal, Kairat Almaty.
