PSG are leading the race to sign Barcelona attacking midfielder Dro Fernandez (18), according to Fabrizio Romano. Pedro “Dro” Fernandez is expected to leave Barcelona in the coming days following a contractual stand-off. Dro remains tied with Barcelona until 2027, but he could leave the Spanish giants immediately considering his release clause is now only worth €6m.

According to Romano, PSG have already presented Dro their contract proposal. PSG head coach Luis Enrique is reportedly involved in the deal, which would make sense because his agent – Ivan de la Peña – is also Dro’s agent. A verbal agreement is reportedly close to being reached with the 18-year-old, who would be PSG’s first winter signing. Given the player’s potential and his relatively low value, it would represent a significant coup from the Champions League winners.
