Paris Saint-Germain clinched their 13th Ligue 1 title on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Angers.

The only goal of the game came 10 minutes into the second half when January signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia whipped in a cross into the six-yard box, and Désiré Doué volleyed it in at the far post for his fifth league goal of the season.

PSG are now 24 points clear of second-place AS Monaco, who still have a game to play later on Saturday, but even if they win all their remaining matches, they can only finish on 71 points.

It’s PSG’s 13th title in total, a record for France, and their 11th in the last 13 seasons, showing just how dominant they’ve been since Qatar Sports Investments took over in 2011.

With the league wrapped up, PSG can now focus fully on their Champions League quarter-final tie against Aston Villa.

They’re also still in the hunt for the French Cup, with a final against Reims coming up on May 24.
