Dembele was forced off during PSG’s final game of the Ligue 1 season amid reports Barcola is also struggling
Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a new injury scare after Ousmane Dembele was forced off during the loss to Paris FC on Sunday.
Dembele was making just his 11th Ligue 1 start of the campaign as PSG boss Luis Enrique named a fairly strong team even with the Ligue 1 title already in the bag.
However, the Frenchman’s evening was over shortly before the half hour mark at the Stade Jean Bouin.
Dembele appeared to be struggling with a suspected calf problem and was immediately replaced by Goncalo Ramos, with Enrique not taking any risks before the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30.
Amid fears that Dembele could be a doubt for the showpiece in Budapest, the PSG boss has delivered a rather positive update.
“He’s fine. I hope it’s nothing serious,” Enrique told reporters after the game.
“What we’re saying today is just speculation, but I don’t think it’s anything serious, and there are still two weeks left.”

Dembele will have just under a fortnight to prove his fitness as PSG look to defend their European crown and hand the Gunners a second Champions League final defeat.
Meanwhile, Bradley Barcola - who opened the scoring against Paris before the home side struck twice in the last 15 minutes to seal a famous win - is reportedly not at 100% following an ankle injury sustained in the round of 16 second leg win over Chelsea.
The Frenchman ended up missing a month of action and has only completed 90 minutes once in ten appearances since.
Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes all missed the defeat to Paris FC because of injury, but are expected to be fit for the Champions League final.
