Real Madrid remain looking at PSG midfielder Vitinha as a potential solution to their woes in the middle part of the pitch. Since the departure of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, the Spanish giants have yet to fill their shoes long-term.

As a result, this summer, reinforcing the midfield with top talent will undoubtedly be on their to-do list. PSG leaned heavily on the trio of Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, and João Neves during a remarkable 2024–25 season that ended with Ligue 1, the UEFA Champions League, and the Coupe de France titles.

Nonetheless, the lure of Real Madrid could put Vitinha’s allegiance to the Parisians to the test.

Despite being tied to PSG until 2029, Vitinha recently stated that he wouldn’t rule out a future move to Spain during an interview with O Jogo.

“La Liga is fantastic and suits my style of play better,” Vitinha said (h/t Le10Sport). “I would like to play there one day. But it’s difficult to set goals. You have to take things step by step.”

“I’ve already played in the Premier League, but at Wolverhampton I didn’t get as much playing time as I would have liked, especially during the Covid period, which prevented me from fully enjoying the atmosphere in the stadiums.”
