PSG look ready to bolster their attack ahead of the winter transfer window. Injuries have hampered Luis Enrique’s squad since the 2024-25 season and the FIFA Club World Cup this past summer.
With a packed schedule and campaigns in three competitions as 2026 approaches, adding reinforcements in key positions has become a priority.
According to Sport Bild, PSG are also planning a summer move for 1. FC Köln winger Said El Mala. The Ligue 1 side could bid between €50 million and €60 million as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Chelsea all monitor the Bundesliga standout’s progress.

El Mala is tied to Köln through 2030 and conflicting reports reveal different price tags for the player. Still, there’s a setback for potential buyers: Transfer insider Dean Jones reports the teenager has been advised to remain in the Bundesliga, even if it means moving away from Köln.
“I have heard that Said El Mala is being encouraged to stay in the Bundesliga rather than choose a move to the Premier League,” Jones told TEAMtalk. “There are some people advising him that it is too soon for the Premier League and that it would be better to wait a little while.
“From a financial perspective Köln would probably do best if an English club came in for him but also it is usually the case that Bayern Munich have some say in special talent before it gets to the stage of them leaving Germany. He’s obviously a great player and is very well scouted but it will be interesting to see if he takes such a massive leap so soon.”
Sport Bild recently reported that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest, reaching out to 1. FC Köln for details on what a potential deal could entail.
Bayern Munich had previously been seen as the frontrunner for El Mala, but the financial muscle of Premier League clubs could pose a significant challenge for the German giants.
