Transfer season is about to begin in earnest, and this is the time of year when certain names start coming into focus as the potential big sagas of the summer.

PSG have been involved in a few of them down the years, and it looks like they could be central to the summer’s main attraction too.

Yan Diomande has exploded as an RB Leipzig player, coming from nowhere to be among the hottest properties in Europe this summer. Liverpool are being strongly linked, but according to top German insider Florian Plettenberg, PSG are right in there.

PSG “have already held talks” with top attacking option

“Liverpool are pushing for a quick agreement… [but] PSG and Man City are closely monitoring the situation and have already held talks. There are still no agreements with any club,” Plettenberg put on Twitter today.

Along with Eli Junior Kroupi, Diomande looks the favourite option to add to PSG’s attack, potentially replacing the outgoing Bradley Barcola. He’s an electric dribbler who looks ready for the next level without question.
