Paris Saint-Germain are weighing a move for Atalanta forward Charles De Ketelaere as an alternative to Barcelona’s Ferran Torres.
RMC Sport reports that Paris Saint-Germain have approached Atalanta to ask about the Belgium international’s availability.
The club, winners of two consecutive Champions League editions, are reshaping their squad this summer, moving on players including Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus and Goncalo Ramos to Milan.
De Ketelaere is not a traditional centre-forward, more a trequartista or support striker, and is sometimes used as a false nine. He was the only player to score against Spain at the 2026 World Cup, netting twice past Unai Simon in the quarter-final.
He joined Milan from Club Brugge in 2022 for €37.5m plus add-ons and initially struggled in Serie A. A year later he was loaned to Atalanta, who made the move permanent in 2024 for €24.7m plus a 10 per cent sell-on clause.
The 25-year-old has 32 goals and 31 assists in 142 competitive games for Atalanta, and his contract runs to June 2028. There was interest from Bayern Munich last week, with suggestions the asking price is set at €50m.
