PSG head coach Luis Enrique is to undergo surgery to repair a broken collarbone, the Champions League winners have announced. The Spaniard has been attended to by emergency services following a bicycle fall on Friday. Luis Enrique is a cycling enthusiast and is known to ride in Paris and around Campus PSG, the club’s training centre. According to reliable X account La Source Parisienne, Luis Enrique’s incident occurred in Spain.

“The Club expresses its full support and wishes him a swift recovery. Further updates will be shared in due course“, added PSG on their social account. Luis Enrique’s injury is not the first today for members of PSG as Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé have all pulled out of France’s win against Ukraine tonight in Wroclaw.  After the international break, PSG will host RC Lens at Parc des Princes before kicking off their Champions League defense title against Atalanta Bergamo.
