PSG, the last French side left in the Champions League, will face Chelsea in the last 16, with the first leg at the Parc des Princes on 10 or 11 March, in less than two weeks.

According to L'Équipe, Friday’s midday draw in Nyon left Luis Enrique’s team with only two possible opponents, including Barcelona, and they were paired with Chelsea.

The tie comes more than seven months after the Club World Cup final on 13 July, when Chelsea beat PSG 3-0.

PSG finished 11th in the league phase and advanced via the play-offs against Monaco, winning 3-2 then drawing 2-2.

Chelsea are familiar foes in the QSI era, the fourth most common opponent for PSG, with a record of 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. Overall the head-to-head is level at 3-3-3.

The return leg is set for Stamford Bridge on 17 or 18 March. The exact schedule will be announced later today.
