PSG face Marseille in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, 8 February 2026, with the hosts one point off top and the visitors third in the standings.

PSG have had the upper hand in recent meetings and edged January's Trophée des Champions on penalties after a 2-2 draw. With Lens a point ahead, this is a chance to apply pressure, while Marseille defend a top-three position.

Form points both ways. PSG beat Strasbourg away last time out and recently saw off Lille and Auxerre in the league, though their run also includes a draw with Newcastle United and defeat at Sporting CP in Europe. Les Olympiens have won against Lens and Angers, drawn at Paris FC, lost at Club Brugge, and swept Rennes 3-0 in the cup.

Selection could matter. PSG are without Achraf Hakimi (suspended) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (injured), while Marseille miss Nayef Aguerd (injured), which may influence their back line.

Routes to goal look clear. PSG average 69% possession with 91.49% passing accuracy, 10 clean sheets and 43 league goals, and may lean on Bradley Barcola, who has seven Ligue 1 strikes, plus creator Vitinha, who leads the division with seven assists. For Les Phocéens, Mason Greenwood tops the league scoring chart with 13, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang adds six goals and five assists.

A win would move PSG to 51 points and could take them top of Ligue 1. Les Olympiens, on 39 points, could strengthen their grip on the Champions League places with a positive result.
