Luis Enrique will rotate in PSG’s final two matches, giving fringe forwards a decisive week as the club assess Julian Alvarez and Maghnes Akliouche.
After the 1-0 win over Brest, he said the last two games would prepare the Champions League final against Arsenal. According to L'Équipe, Paris have paused all renewal and recruitment talks until after that match.
Work with Luis Campos had already started, prioritising a centre-back and handling departures. The closing Ligue 1 fixtures, at Lens on Wednesday and against Paris FC on Sunday, could be pivotal for those seeking minutes.
Lee Kang-in has an ankle issue and wanted a final outing before decisions on his future. He retains a market in Spain, and if Atlético de Madrid interest is confirmed his situation could shift, especially as PSG are closely tracking Julian Alvarez, under contract to 2030.
PSG have identified Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche as a possible successor, with Manchester City and Liverpool also following him. Campos is also studying Russia, ordering reports on CSKA Moscow midfielder Matveï Kislyak, a more defensive profile who still suits Enrique.
Lee will not feature at Lens. Gonçalo Ramos could benefit after a flat display against Brest, and with 15 starts and 12 goals he wants a run. He has suitors and a move remains possible, with Alvarez pursuit hinting at movement around him, unless PSG instead decide to part with Ibrahim Mbaye, who should get minutes this week but is weighing his future amid growing English interest.
