Paris Saint-Germain are in no hurry to wrap up a deal for Red Bull Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé (19), according to a report from L’Équipe.
Les Parisiens have already received a major boost in their pursuit of the Ivory Coast international. Despite strong interest – and an offer – from Liverpool, Diomandé is prioritising a move to PSG. L’Équipe understands that the winger has already agreed a five-year deal with the reigning European champions.
It means that PSG are in a position of strength, and, aware of the player’s intentions, it also means that they are currently in no hurry to wrap up the deal. The Ligue 1 club’s priority is getting the best deal possible.
They are in constant contact with RB Leipzig regarding a move, but are willing to make the Bundesliga side wait, L’Équipe understands.
Diomandé is coming off the back of an excellent season in Germany (13 goals, nine assists), whilst he also participated in the Ivory Coast’s run to the knockout phases of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
