Paris Saint-Germain head to Stamford Bridge with a 5-2 lead over Chelsea, however, they are not preparing for the second-leg with the mindset that the tie is already decided.
“We have only played one match; there is still a second one to play, and the second is always different because it is against a club that is currently out of the competition and is preparing this match to try to change that. We are ready to play this kind of match,” said Luis Enrique in a press conference attended by Get French Football News.
He continued, “There will be moments that will be hard to manage. It is our objective to win the match, but we will have moments of suffering.” The PSG manager said that the example of the Aston Villa match last season, at Villa Park, is an example of “what can happen”. Even if Les Parisiens did uiltimately qualify that night, he is determined to avoid a repeat against Chelsea.
