Pundits argue over Wenger’s place among top managers

Arsene Wenger is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in the history of the Premier League, following his two-decade tenure in charge of Arsenal. TalkSPORT Debate Sparks Discussion

During a discussion, Jason Cundy offered his view on the top three managers in Premier League history. As reported by Talk Sport, he stated, “Sir Alex [Ferguson], Pep [Guardiola] and Jose [Mourinho] for me.”

A surprised Jamie O’Hara responded, “What? Jose Mourinho, not Arsene Wenger?” Cundy replied, “Arsene Wenger is in the conversation. But of course I’m putting Jose in there. Five and a half years, three Premier League titles.”

Cundy continued, “Arsene Wenger was there (Arsenal) 22 years and won three (titles).

“Sir Alex is the don, there’s no question. Pep is number two. How long has Pep been there? Nine or ten years I think. He’s won six Premier Leagues.”

While opinions differ, Wenger’s legacy as one of the finest managers to have worked in English football remains firmly intact.
