The R’s may be unbeaten in their last four league outings, but this mini‑revival followed four straight losses without a single goal. It’s been a season of genuine ups and downs.

Given the fact the West London club have pretty much nothing to play for, some attention may be turning toward the upcoming summer transfer window.

Head coach Julien Stephan only brought in two permanent signings during the January window this season - in Ronnie Edwards and Justin Obikwu.

There's now been an update on another they apparently put a bid in for...

According to West London Sport, QPR ‘did not’ make an offer for Dundee FC centre-back Luke Graham during the January transfer window - prior to contrary reports.

Said gossip suggested that the R’s had lodged a £1m bid for the highly-rated youngster, but this has now been firmly clarified as untrue.

Portsmouth had apparently seen a £400,000 offer rejected for Graham earlier in the window, with Aberdeen, Hearts and Sheffield United were named as showing interest. It's unsure whether this bit was false as well.

It remains to be seen just how much money The Dee would want for Graham, yet the club's manager, Steven Pressley, has 'promised' supporters they won't sell him for cheap this summer.

Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers are both touted with interest in the centre-back now - whereas QPR are said to be in a transfer tussle for his teammate in the summer, as per The Scotsman.

What is known about Queens Park Rangers' interest in Luke Graham's teammate Jon McCracken

QPR have also been credited with interest in Graham's Dundee teammate Jon McCracken, the 25-year-old goalkeeper who has made the most saves in the Scottish Premiership so far this term, with 124.

In the same aforementioned report, West London Sport confirmed that while QPR scouts have watched him in recent months, no approach has been made as yet.

McCracken, whose contract is expiring at the end of the season, has attracted reported attention from Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn Rovers and even Celtic.

Having conceded the joint-second most goals in the Championship so far this season, it's perhaps not a surprise to learn that QPR want to bolster their defence in the summer.

Both the R's and Leicester City have conceded 63 league goals each - a stat only worsened by Sheffield Wednesday - who have let in 82.

Ultimately, the lack of a January bid for Graham offers some transfer clarity about what actually happened in the winter window.

Stephan himself claimed that after the window had closed, via Hounslow Herald, he was "happy with the situation" at the club, as he had mixed feelings about a transfer market mid-season.
