FLW's QPR fan pundit has backed the club to make serious money off of Harvey Vale and Richard Kone

Queens Park Rangers' season looks to have fizzled out, with the West London outfit looking likely to be playing Championship football once again next season, though the future looks bright at Loftus Road.

The end of another frustrating campaign for QPR is on the horizon, with the capital-based club looking increasingly likely for another year in the second tier, barring an immense run of form between now and May.

A place in the top six this season seemed a real possibility under the guidance of French boss Julien Stephan, but the R's underwent a dismal run of form, which saw them plummet in the standings and slash their chances of breaking into the play-offs in the process.

However, not all is doom and gloom at Loftus Road, with QPR possessing some incredible young attacking talent, with many touted to be sold for lucrative fees in the coming years.

Richard Kone and Harvey Vale, in particular, have been name-dropped as potential big-money sales in the coming years, with both showing glimpses of their quality this campaign.

Kone joined QPR for around £2.75 million from League One Wycombe Wanderers in the summer, whilst Vale joined in January 2025 from Chelsea, with the fee believed to have been waived by the Blues in exchange for a healthy sell-on fee.

Both have shown glimpses of their ability since making the move to West London, with Vale in particular having recently received a call-up to the Republic of Ireland national side.

Football League World's QPR fan pundit, Louis, has shared their views on Kone and Vale, and whether they will be able to collect substantial fees in the future, saying, "I think Kone more than Vale, but both have really impressed at times this season.

"Vale has obviously had a period of time when he was injured. He came into the side, looked really good, went downhill a bit performance-wise, but a lot of the team did. He found himself out of the side and then back in it, and he's been really, really good to watch. [He has] had a massive effect on the team, scoring some cracking goals, assisting, and stepping up and making a difference.

"Obviously, Kone went through that bit of a goal drought, but he was still playing every game, every week, working hard for the team, and people probably expect more of him, which is fair enough, but he's still so young. It's his first season in the Championship, and overall, he's done well.

"So, I mean, I think Kone and Vale, not just those two. To be honest, I think we can make serious money from other players as well when they get properly going.

"I mean, it's just exciting, I suppose, if you see what they've done so far this season, and if players adapt to the Championship and develop and kick on, then if they stay fit and consistent, add more consistency to their game, then you'd expect them to have real good seasons, if not, better than this season next year.

"So, I think, players like them two and others, we can make money because they're full of talent, and they've got plenty of ability. It's exciting to see what they can do, and hopefully we can sort of become more consistent as a team as well."

Richard Kone and Harvey Vale are not the only two talented QPR attackers

Not only do QPR have Kone and Vale to boast about in their ranks, but they also possess the likes of Rayan Kolli, Koki Saito, Rumarn Burrell, and Karamoko Dembele within their ranks, adding to the more senior Ilias Chair and Paul Smyth.

Stephan has helped to develop the likes of Jeremy Doku, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, and Eduardo Camavinga during his time at Rennes, and will be looking to do the same in the English capital.

Any single one of the aforementioned attackers could well go on and collect substantial fees in the future, not just Kone and Vale, although at the moment, they are the pick of the bunch.

The R's will be aiming to finish the season strong and put their forwards into the spotlight to boost their confidence and profile, which will only be mutually beneficial.
