Adrien Rabiot has played down speculation about his Milan future for now, insisting talks with new head coach Ruben Amorim can wait until after the World Cup.
The midfielder, a key figure in an impressive France campaign, was approached by Rai outside Didier Deschamps’ squad base.
Asked whether Amorim had been in contact with him in recent days, with quotes via CalcioMercato, Rabiot kept it brief: “We’ll speak later on.”
The midfielder is evidently keen to stay locked in on the tournament, with France facing Spain in the semi-final on Tuesday at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Present alongside him was his mother and agent, Veronique, who manages her son’s affairs.
She rarely gives interviews, but according to the Rai reporter she left the impression that she still sees Rabiot’s future in the red and black.
Once the World Cup concludes, the player is expected to speak again with Amorim, who is said to be intent on making Rabiot a central part of his Milan project.
The France international’s name had been linked in recent weeks with Napoli, now coached by his great admirer Massimiliano Allegri.
However, without first offloading Frank Anguissa, the Partenopei are unable to make new additions in midfield, a constraint that, for now, keeps the door at San Siro looking the more likely one.
