The local ‘event’ in question being a gathering of the orange persuasion taking place on the streets of Kirkcaldy.

Not for the first time has this sort of ‘event’ caused disruption for communities in this country, and it’s a sad state of affairs that councils and indeed the Scottish Government allow this to happen on a regular basis.

Everyone of course is allowed to express their religious beliefs, but these types of gatherings are nothing but a magnet for the Neanderthals of society to take to the streets to spew their hatred complete with a police escort. If you want to celebrate your religion do it in a place of worship like every other religious group.

And news just in, anti Catholicism is NOT a religion, it’s merely religious bigotry.

These marches appear to be increasing ten fold and there seems to be one every other week and it’s disrupting the everyday lives of ordinary citizens.

Clubs like Raith Rovers are doing all they can to entice locals to attended their games, and with no other football taking place at the moment this was a perfect opportunity for young supporters to attend a match, but sadly that was disrupted by a so called religious ‘parade’ that is nothing more than an excuse for a sectarian rallying.

It’s now got to the stage that football is getting disrupted by a ‘cult’ movement that belongs in the seventeenth century, and that is indeed a sad indictment on our country. No wonder we call them Scotland’s Shame.
