Randal Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert were involved in a minor car accident on Tuesday, delaying their arrival to join Tottenham’s squad in Frankfurt for Champions League league phase matchday 8.

According to L'Équipe, head coach Thomas Frank said both players are fine and everyone involved was unharmed, adding that a burst tyre caused the delay and the pair are due to land later on Tuesday.

He noted he was unsure whether they were actually in that car, but said the duo were together and the incident happened on the way to the airport.

Frank said they are taking a later flight and that he fully expects both to be available for Wednesday’s game.

Tottenham sit 5th in the league phase on 14 points and visit Eintracht Frankfurt, already eliminated in 33rd on 4 points, for the eighth and final round. A win on Wednesday at 21:00 would secure direct qualification for the last 16, avoiding the play-offs.
