Rangers captain James Tavernier has announced that will he leave the club at the end of the season.
The defender first joined Rangers in the summer of 2015 when they were still in the Scottish Championship and is now in his tenth, and final, campaign for the club.
"After a lot of thought, I've made the decision that this will be my final season a the club," the 34-year-old said in a social media post.
"This hasn't been an easy decision. The club has been a huge part of my life and my family's over the past 11 years. It's given me so much, both on and off the pitch and from the moment I arrive, I'v always tried to give everything I had to represent it in the right way."
Tavernier helped his side to a league and cup double in the 2020/21 season and featured in the 2022 Europa League final loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.
In total, Tavernier has played 562 games for Rangers since his arrival, scoring 144 goals and making 102 assists.
