Rangers travel to the Set Fare Arena this weekend to take on Livingston in the Scottish Premiership.
Both teams are eager to secure much-needed points after slow starts to the campaign. The Gers are yet to taste victory in the league under new manager Russell Martin, while the Lions have one win in their opening six outings.
Rangers manager Russell Martin has no new injuries to report following their midweek defeat to Genk, although the team remains without several longer-term absentees. Dujon Sterling is still recovering from an Achilles issue and isn’t expected to be available before the new year, while Rabbi Matondo is also sidelined due to an undisclosed problem.
Summer signing Lyall Cameron, brought in from Dundee, has yet to make his Rangers debut as he continues his recovery from an injury picked up shortly after his arrival, though his return is anticipated in the coming weeks.
Bojan Miovski appears set to reclaim a spot in the starting eleven, after Youssef Chermiti’s underwhelming first outing for the team against Genk, where Chermiti was limited to just one touch inside the opposition’s penalty area.
Martin is likely to shuffle the team in response to the midweek European disappointment, with Oliver Antman a strong candidate to come in for Mikey Moore on the flank. Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande are expected to anchor the midfield once more, as Diomande’s European suspension will not affect his league participation.
Possible Rangers starting XI: Butland; Tavernier, Souttar, Cornelius, Meghoma; Raskin, Diomande; Moore, Aasgaard, Gassama; Miovski
The game will kick off at 3pm BST on Sunday, 28th September.
