It’s been a memorable year for Liverpool on the pitch.
2025 saw the Reds claim their 20th top-flight crown with Arne Slot leading his side to the Premier League title at the first time of asking.
Several Liverpool players delivered standout performances along the way - and memorable goals too.
Here we run through what we believe to be Liverpool’s top 10 goals of 2025 - encompassing the latter part of the title-winning season and the first half of this 2025/26 campaign.
We hope you enjoy reliving them all again.
This moment represents more than a goal and more than a derby winner. This was the last time we saw Diogo Jota score a goal for Liverpool. It was his sign-off - only a few months before his tragic death.
Jota had so much to celebrate - this goal, the Premier League title, the UEFA Nations League and his wedding. All of that was snatched away in the cruellest of circumstances - leaving us all bereft in his absence.

So let’s for now remember the good times Jota gave us - and especially this trademark goal. A wonderful run and finish - this is what Diogo Jota was all about.
The first Premier League of Alexander Isak’s Liverpool career - and one which can serve a reminder of why Richard Hughes paid £125m for him.
He didn’t even think about controlling the ball sent his way by Cody Gakpo - instead steering a first-time, side-footed shot to the near post.
It was a vital goal at a tricky time for the Reds - who really needed a win to pull themselves out of the slump.
Isak, 26, needs to watch this goal on repeat in order to give himself confidence to perform.
Szoboszlai rounded off the scoring in Frankfurt with a sensational low drive from outside the box.
The ball was nudged to him by Florian Wirtz and the finish bore all the hallmarks of a confident man in form.
More of these please Dom.
Trent Alexander-Arnold left Liverpool fans with a few memories during his final season at Anfield. This was his greatest contribution in a goal-scoring sense.
Liverpool were winning 1-0 against Accrington in the FA Cup third round when Trent put the result beyond doubt just before half-time.
The goal sequence begins with a characteristic dribble from Rio Ngumoha before the ball makes it way to the right side of the Reds’ attack.
Alexander-Arnold lines up a sumptuous drive into the top corner and sets the home side on their way towards an eventual 4-0 win.
A brilliant finish from a brilliant player during his greatest season in a Liverpool shirt.
This was a potentially tricky away fixture at Bournemouth but the game was solved by two Salah goals. The second made the result safe and owed plenty to Curtis Jones as well as two players no longer of this parish in Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz.
Jones’ drive and vision puts Salah into a position to curl the ball into the far corner - which he does with considerable style.
There are very few players in world football capable of turning a chance like this into a goalscoring moment. Ultimately it wouldn’t be enough to earn Slot’s side a share of the spoils during a very poor run.
But watch again how Salah pulls the ball out of the air with his left foot before switching over and thumping a right-footed effort into the top corner past Caoimhin Kelleher.
Absolutely stunning and maybe one of Salah’s most underrated Liverpool goals.
Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning party was in danger of being put on ice. But once the Reds found their rhythm against Spurs the goals started to flow.
Spurs were stunned by Alexis Mac Allister’s goal - which gave Arne Slot’s side the lead inside the half hour. The Argentina international made the most of a breaking ball at the edge of the box - expertly guiding a left-footed rocket into the top corner.
The title celebrations could well and truly begin.
Plenty of Liverpool fans were reminded of Fernando Torres when this goal went in.
Ekitike has been the Reds’ best signing of the season without a doubt and he has delivered when it’s mattered. Here - against his former club - he latched onto an Andy Robertson through ball to race clear and aim home a brilliant finish.
The 23-year-old is outperforming the Reds’ other new centre-forward in Alexander Isak and here was an incredible reminder of why Liverpool paid £69m to secure his services.
Ryan Gravenberch has a legitimate claim to be the best midfielder in the world. Here is evidence of the all-round midfield powerhouse that the Dutchman can be on his day.
Firstly, credit the vision and execution in Salah’s assist. And then admire the difficulty of Gravenberch’s effort - meeting the ball on the up and steering a tidy finish past Jordan Pickford. World-class.
No player has contributed more for Liverpool this season in their difficult title defence than Dominik Szoboszlai. He has been used in many different positions by Slot and has never let the team down.
But he’s also stepped up in front of goal when it mattered - none more so than this incredible match-winning effort against Arsenal.
This might be one of the best free-kicks scored in 2025 and it was one which gave the Merseysiders a vital three points against title rivals Arsenal.
Sit back and enjoy.
