Raphinha sends message of gratitude to Barcelona teammate | OneFootball

Barcelona star Raphinha has taken to social media, to send a message of appreciation to a fellow member of the attacking ranks at the club.

The player in question? Ferran Torres.

This comes owing to Ferran’s contributions en route to Barcelona’s comeback victory over Benfica.

The Blaugrana, of course, are fresh off a memorable victory on the continent on Tuesday night.

After making the trip to the aforementioned Benfica for a Champions League clash, Hansi Flick’s troops found themselves two goals down inside the closing 15 minutes.

This, though, set the stage for the most remarkable of comebacks, rounded out by Raphinha deep into injury-time in Lisbon.

The Brazilian for his part secured the headlines post-match, after notching Barcelona’s 5th and final goal in nothing short of wonderful fashion.

As alluded to above, though, Raphinha himself has today moved to reiterate his appreciation for the man who set him free in behind the Benfica backline.

Ferran Torres was the player responsible for the long-range assist, with Raphinha, in turn, having taken to his official Instagram account to write:

‘What a pass, Ferran’
