RB Bragantino punish Fla after Pulgar red | OneFootball

RB Bragantino beat Flamengo 3-0 on Thursday in Bragança Paulista, ending Fla's six-match league unbeaten run and lifting Braga from 16th to 11th in the Brasileirão.

In the 17th minute Isidro Pitta thumped in from outside the box after a pass from Juninho Capixaba. Gabriel then drilled low from distance (39.), set up by Henry Mosquera after a corner.

After the restart, Erick Pulgar was sent off (50.) following a VAR review. Moments later Lucas Barbosa glanced in Agustín Sant'Anna's cross (55.) to put the game out of reach.

Half-time changes brought on Éverton and Jorge Andrés Carrascal Guado for Fla, but Braga kept control and carried the greater threat.

A Mosquera finish was ruled out after a VAR check (73.).

Tiago Volpi saved smartly early on to deny Ayrton Lucas as Fla chased a response. Fla managed one shot on target from seven attempts. Braga registered 18 attempts, six on target, and had 55.7% possession.
