Good memories from 5-2 win

The regular season is drawing to a close, and in our final home match before the league splits, we welcome SpG Südburgenland/TSV Hartberg. Admission to the Red Bull Football Academy is free of charge. Kick-off is at 14:30 CET on Sunday. The visitors to Liefering are the team against whom our club achieved its biggest league victory to date: a 5-2 win in October. While Pavlovic's team have been back in action for over a month, the opponents only woke from their winter slumber last week – due to a weather-related cancellation – and suffered an unlucky 0-1 defeat against LASK. The side currently bottom of the table with a four-point deficit to the safety zone continue to wait for their second win of the season.

Decisive weeks ahead

Although the league's weakest away team visit Salzburg on Sunday, captain Lucia Orkic and her team-mates certainly won't underestimate the newly promoted side – after all, they need to put themselves in a good position ahead of the final matchday of the regular season. Whether their faint hope of reaching the championship group remains alive will be decided before kick-off – Altach, six points ahead with two matches remaining, visit the Hohe Warte stadium on Sunday morning. Regardless, one thing is already certain: Should they remain in the five-matchday, six-team qualification group, three home games await, as our FC Red Bull Salzburg Women cannot be knocked out of the top seven by the time the table is divided.
