Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz has made a solid impression in the Africa Cup of Nations, helping his team, Morocco, kickstart the tournament with a 2-0 win over Comoros.

The playmaker was deeply involved in Morocco’s win, notably scoring the all-important opener that helped the team break the deadlock. He followed it up with another goal in the 1-1 draw vs Mali.

Diaz’s performances have not gone unnoticed either, with multiple clubs across Europe keeping close track of his progress at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Four teams vying for Brahim Diaz

According to Defensa Central, a total of four teams are on red alert as Brahim Diaz performs well at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The clubs in question include Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, while Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus are also interested.

They are aware of Brahim’s difficult position at Real Madrid, as the forward is no longer a first-team regular and is only serving as backup to the likes of Rodrygo, Arda Guler, and Jude Bellingham. He has even fallen behind Franco Mastantuono in the pecking order.

Although Brahim has never complained about his role at Real Madrid, his importance in the team is only expected to dwindle further, especially with Los Blancos set to bring back Nico Paz next summer.

Paz’s return will have major ramifications, and although Dani Ceballos looks likely to become the sacrificial lamb, Brahim’s role could be impacted too.

Real Madrid, for their part, do not plan to sell Brahim as they consider him to be a great asset in the first team. But if the player decides to leave, they won’t stand in the way.

Real Madrid will, however, hold out for a hefty price tag for the Moroccan international as he is only 26 and has a great future ahead of him.
