According to Jose Felix Diaz’s report in MARCA, Real Madrid are targeting a historic €1.3 billion in revenue for the 2025-26 season.
This projection sets a new benchmark in football, proving the strength and stability of the club’s management under president Florentino Pérez.
UEFA itself has praised Real Madrid’s financial structure, calling it an example for other clubs to follow. The club’s strategy continues to place them at the top of the financial rankings in world football.
Real Madrid became the first sports club in history to surpass €1 billion in annual revenue during the 2023-24 season.
The club posted €1.045 billion in earnings, a significant rise from the €832 million they generated the season before.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain followed Madrid in the financial rankings, recording €837 million and €805 million respectively. For the 2024-25 season, Real Madrid set a budget of €1.127 billion.
Despite being knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, losing out on additional prize money and semi-final ticket sales, the club still expects final revenue figures to reach close to €1.2 billion.
This shortfall in Champions League income was largely balanced by the €74 million earned from their performance in the FIFA Club World Cup.
By comparison, PSG stand to earn €126 million if they win the World Cup, while Chelsea could secure €110 million. These figures highlight how valuable international competitions have become for top clubs looking to expand revenue streams.
Looking ahead, Real Madrid’s financial projections for the 2025-26 season set another record.
With a target of nearly €1.3 billion, the club is not just maintaining its financial dominance but pushing the limits of what’s possible in football economics.
