Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring one of Italy’s most promising young talents.
According to Defensa Central, Juni Calafat, the club’s chief scout, has been asked to closely assess 17-year-old forward Francesco Camarda, who currently plays for Serie A side Lecce.
Camarda has recently grabbed attention after scoring his first goal in Italy’s top division, and his name is now circulating widely in European football circles.
Camarda, who is on loan at Lecce from AC Milan, is already considered one of Italian football’s brightest prospects.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, and Real Madrid have already sent scouts to watch him in action multiple times.
Calafat is particularly impressed by the youngster, noting that players of this age with such technical ability and potential are rare.
Some observers have even drawn comparisons between Camarda and legendary Italian striker Filippo Inzaghi, though the teenager is taller than the former Milan star.

For now, Calafat intends to continue monitoring Camarda closely over the coming months.
Reports indicate that Real Madrid are keen to track his development and see if he can consistently deliver on the pitch, confirming the high expectations surrounding him.
The focus is on understanding not only his skill and scoring ability but also his potential to adapt to the demands of elite European football.
However, securing a move for Camarda will not be easy. The competition is expected to be fierce, especially given his ties to AC Milan, who are unlikely to let such a talented prospect leave without careful consideration.
For Real Madrid, the priority remains observing his progress and keeping him on their radar.
Should he continue to impress, Camarda could become a serious candidate for one of Europe’s top clubs in the near future.
