Emerging as a revelation during pre-season, Thiago Pitarch is set to extend his contract with Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are determined to secure the future of their Spanish-Moroccan wonderkid.

At just 18 years old, the Moroccan-born midfielder is rapidly rising through the ranks. Xabi Alonso has been impressed ever since Pitarch started training with the first team in preparation for the new season. While he is expected to feature with the U19 squad for the 2025-2026 campaign, there is a strong possibility that he could soon be promoted to the senior team.

According to ESPN, the board at Los Blancos plans to offer their young star a long-term deal to fend off interest from rival clubs eager to secure his signature in the future.

Just four days ago, the Fuenlabrada native found the net in a friendly against Leganés (4-1). He has also been named in the squad for Real Madrid’s second pre-season fixture against Austrian side Tirol, set for Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Linked with the Atlas Lions last March, Pitarch has yet to officially decide between representing Spain or Morocco.
