Real Madrid will be in action on Saturday night at the Santiago Bernabeu when they take on Real Sociedad in La Liga.
With Barcelona scheduled to play Girona on Monday, it provides the Merengues a great opportunity to take a lead in the title race and put pressure on Hansi Flick’s men.
However, heading into the match, Real Madrid are sweating over the fitness of Kylian Mbappe, who has now missed training for two consecutive days.
Meanwhile, Raul Asencio also did not train today due to flu and it remains to be seen whether he is ready to play on Saturday or not.
But, in a positive update, MARCA reports that Antonio Rudiger is fit and ready and is set to play against Real Sociedad this weekend in some capacity.
In fact, there is a good chance the German heavyweight could start at the heart of the defencie for Real Madrid against La Real.

Rudiger has not played for Real Madrid since January 8, when he appeared in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Atletico Madrid.
The 32-year-old has recovered the knee issue that was troubling him and returned to the squad list for last weekend’s La Liga clash against Valencia.
Now, Rudiger could be in line to play against Real Sociedad, with the aim of regaining match-sharpness and rhythm ahead of the all-important Champions League encounter against Benfica later this month.
It has been a difficult season for Rudiger, with injuries limiting him to only nine appearances across all competitions. Having recovered now, the German veteran will hope to string together a sustained run of matches and return to his best form.
