Real Madrid will say goodbye to one of their most loyal servants this week.
According to journalist Melchor Ruiz, Lucas Vazquez will officially bid farewell to Los Blancos on Thursday at a special ceremony held at Valdebebas.
The winger, who has been part of Real Madrid’s first team since 2015 after a loan spell at Espanyol, will appear before the press to say goodbye to the club of his life.
It will be an emotional moment, not just for Vazquez, but for the entire Madrid family. Vazquez leaves as one of Real Madrid’s most decorated players.
Over his time with the club, he has won 22 major trophies, a list that includes: 5 Champions League titles, 4 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey, 3 Club World Cups, 4 UEFA Super Cups and 4 Spanish Super Cups and 1 Intercontinental Cup.

Vazquez was never the headline star, but he was always ready when the team needed him. Whether playing as a winger or filling in at right-back, his reliability and professionalism made him a key part of Real Madrid’s success.
Over the years, he earned the trust of several managers and the respect of the dressing room.
In total, Vazquez played 402 official matches for Real Madrid, scoring 38 goals and providing 73 assists.
At 34 years old, he now closes this chapter of his life quietly, without fanfare, but with the full admiration of the club and its supporters.
The farewell event will be attended by club president Florentino Perez, Vazquez’s teammates, and the coaching staff. It promises to be a heartfelt tribute to a player whose dedication and love for Real Madrid will never be forgotten.
