Eduardo Camavinga is emerging as a player attracting attention from major clubs, with PSG already making an informal approach to try to sign him.

According to AS, multiple Premier League sides have shown interest in Camavinga. The key detail, however, is that the Frenchman has shown no desire to walk away from Real Madrid.

Interest from top clubs in England and France is understandable for a player like Camavinga. This comes at a time when there are doubts over his long-term future.

Real Madrid are making major moves in the market and might have to sell a star player to generate funds for Mourinho’s plans.

Since arriving at Real Madrid, Camavinga has never really had a defined role, and there is a scenario in which Los Blancos would be justified in trying to sell him this summer.

Real Madrid should value his commitment

Camavinga remains one of the most useful midfielders in the squad. He can play as an interior, deeper in midfield and even cover at left-back when required.

That versatility has helped Real Madrid many times, even if it has also sometimes stopped him from settling into one permanent role.

The Premier League links are not surprising. English clubs have the money and the need for midfielders who can run, press, carry the ball and survive physical matches.

Camavinga ticks all of those boxes. PSG’s informal approach also makes sense on paper. A young French international with Champions League experience would naturally appeal to them.

No reason to open the door

Real Madrid should be careful not to create a problem where there is not one. Camavinga is still only 23, already experienced and has qualities that are very difficult to replace in the market.

If anything, such widespread interest should push Los Blancos to define his role better and not let him become a jack of all trades.

Camavinga has accepted different jobs for the team, but that has come at a cost, as he sometimes feels undervalued within his own club.

There may be midfield movement this summer at Real Madrid, both in terms of arrivals and departures. That said, Camavinga is one of the names the club should not consider selling.

Unless an offer too good to turn down arrives, Camavinga should be a Real Madrid player for the foreseeable future, and it remains to be seen whether it stays that way.
