Real Madrid on alert with Nico Paz the subject €50m transfer offer | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid have this weekend been placed on high alert.

This comes amid confirmation that Como standout Nico Paz is the subject of a big-money offer by way of the Premier League.

Midfielder Paz for his part departed Spain’s capital last summer, to link up with Serie A outfit Como.

And the Argentine went on to enjoy a stellar debut campaign in Italy, to the tune of six goals and nine assists across 35 league appearances.

With such excellence, though, comes inevitable outside interest…

After links with a whole host of clubs across the summer to date, one such suitor, it is understood, have now gone as far as to table a bid for Paz.

As per a report from Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio:

‘Tottenham Hotspur have reached an offer of around €50 million for Nico Paz.’

The aforementioned Real Madrid, in turn, have been left with little choice but to begin monitoring the situation.

Los Merengues have already turned down the chance to bring Paz back this summer, opting against making use of their buyback clause.

With the option to match any proposal received by Como for the 20-year-old, though, Florentino Pérez and co. could soon be forced into decisive action.
