Real Madrid could look to usher in the reported arrival of Jose Mourinho with a bang as they might be eyeing a certain PSG player.
For the second straight season, Real Madrid aren’t winning any trophies. As a result, the Spanish giants are looking to make moves that break this trophyless streak that’s plaguing them.
With the reported arrival of Mourinho, Los Blancos also want to make signings that give the veteran manager the players he can allow his team to challenge for trophies both domestically and internationally.

The reported arrival of Mourinho is expected to be the first major move in what looks set to be a hectic summer at Real Madrid. A major overhaul is reportedly planned after a season that ended without a trophy.
It could begin with a significant recruitment drive, particularly in midfield, where the departures of Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Luka Modrić were never truly replaced.
According to AS journalist Tomás Roncero, the solution can only come from two players: Rodri of Manchester City and Vitinha of PSG.
“When I’m asked what the solution is for the midfield, I always mention two names: Rodri and Vitinha; the others seem secondary to me,” Roncero told El Larguero on Cadena SER (h/t Le10Sport). “A problem that has been felt repeatedly over the last decade is that club legends have left through the back door.
“The team managed to cope thanks to Kroos and the partnership between Ancelotti and Modric. Carvajal is the last of the Mohicans from that glorious era.”
Moreover, Roncero stated the importance Rodri could have.
“Rodri would allow Real Madrid’s midfield to regain the sense of direction and tactical awareness it had when Kroos or Modric were on the pitch,” Roncero added.
“Beyond having a versatile player, you need someone who lifts his head up and distributes the ball. Mourinho really likes vertical football and you need a playmaker, and Rodri can be that playmaker.”
