Vinicius Jr’s future remains one of the biggest outstanding issues at Real Madrid this summer, and the club are eager to bring the matter to a swift conclusion.
Having finished his World Cup campaign with Brazil, the forward is currently enjoying his holidays, but upon his return, Real Madrid are hopeful of finally resolving a contract renewal that has been stalled for months.
According to OKDIARIO, Real Madrid do not want Vinicius’ situation to develop into another drawn-out saga this summer and intend to settle it as soon as possible.

The club consider it essential to clarify the Brazilian’s future before the situation drags on any further, but their stance in negotiations has not softened.
At Valdebebas, the message remains that, as of today, there is no offer on the table for Vinicius from any other club, a scenario that shapes the entire situation.
Letting go of one of the squad’s most valuable assets without a buyer is not a realistic option, while heading into the season with a player entering the final year of his contract is equally unacceptable to the club.
The logical consequence, therefore, is that both parties appear destined to reach an agreement.
Despite the mutual desire to continue, the main obstacle remains financial, and it is a significant one.

The report adds that the figures being demanded by Vinicius’ entourage are far beyond what Real Madrid consider acceptable. The Brazilian is reportedly seeking a salary of close to €20 million net per season, a figure the club are unwilling to meet.
Real Madrid believe that accepting such terms would disrupt the salary structure, and they are adamant that no individual can be allowed to jeopardise that framework.
Despite the gulf in expectations, there remains a strong belief that a deal will ultimately be struck. Vinicius has consistently expressed his desire to remain at the Bernabeu, and with no concrete offers from elsewhere, his options beyond Real Madrid appear limited.
The player is set to return from his break towards the end of the month, at which point formal talks are expected to resume.
Real Madrid will be hopeful that both sides can bridge the financial divide and finally put an end to the uncertainty.
