Real Madrid reject €90m transfer offer from Man United | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have rebuffed a big-money transfer proposal on the part of English outfit Manchester United.

That’s according to Fichajes, who highlight Aurélien Tchouaméni as the subject of the bid in question.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park, the Old Trafford brass recently made contact with their counterparts in Spain’s capital, to express their interest in bringing in France international Tchouaméni.

Not only that, but the Red Devils went as far as to offer up €90 million for his services.

This proposal was comprised of an initial €70 million up-front, followed by a further €20 million in potential add-ons.

Real Madrid, however, made clear that such figures were not sufficient to convince them of the merits of a sale.

Tchouaméni is considered nothing short of a vital figure at the Santiago Bernabéu, one of the first names on the team sheet of new manager Xabi Alonso across the early months of the campaign.
