Real Madrid’s focus on building for the future has taken another significant step forward.
According to a report from Alvaro Esteban, highly-rated winger Clifford Nana has already completed his departure from Damm and will join Real Madrid’s academy setup ahead of next season.
The 16-year-old attacker has built a strong reputation within Spanish youth football and is now set to continue his development at La Fabrica, where club officials believe he has the potential to become an important player in the years ahead.
Known for his speed, direct style and eye for goal, Nana arrives at Real Madrid as one of the more intriguing youth recruits secured by the club this year.
While he still has plenty of development ahead of him, Real Madrid see the teenager as a player worth investing in for the long term.
According to the journalist, Nana has already left Damm after attracting interest with his performances in the División de Honor.
The young winger spent the 2025/26 season playing for Damm’s Cadete A side and emerged as one of the team’s standout attacking players.
Operating primarily from wide areas, he scored six goals in 15 league appearances while consistently causing problems for opposition defenders.
His profile fits the modern winger mould, as Nana is known for his explosive acceleration, ability to beat opponents in one-on-one situations and willingness to attack defenders directly.
Combined with his physical strength and finishing ability, those qualities have made him one of the most closely watched prospects in his age group.

Real Madrid have decided to bring him into their academy structure, where he will continue his development among some of the country’s top young talents.
One of the most interesting aspects of Nana’s journey is his connection to Barcelona.
Before joining Damm, the winger spent part of his early development at La Masia, Barcelona’s famous youth academy.
However, he left the Catalan club in 2023 and eventually continued his progression elsewhere.
The move to Damm provided him with regular opportunities to develop, and his growth has now been rewarded with a transfer to one of Europe’s most prestigious academy systems.
